Ascending the concrete steps leads to the church entrance, flanked by decorative hollow bricks. Above the entrance is a mosaic mural, an early work by American artist Francisco Borboa, depicting God’s creation of humanity and the universe while incorporating elements of Emei’s agricultural life.
