Fuyuan Baoan Temple is the oldest Chenghuang Temple in Hualien. Its grand ceremonial gate stands at the entrance of Guangdong Road, marking the entry into the village's spiritual center. Guangdong Road is Fuyuan Village's main street and has long reflected the commercial evolution of Bazai Village. The gate's architecture is imposing, adorned with traditional temple motifs. From here, looking down the street, you can still see several old-style shop houses that preserve the scale and atmosphere of a traditional Hakka village street.
