Ruisui's hot springs have been flowing since 1919, when a public bathhouse was built here during the Japanese era. Ruisui Hot Spring Hotel preserves the original wooden architecture. In early days, it once served as a police guesthouse. Ancient trees shade the weathered walls, and a faint sulfur scent fills the air. The hotel has witnessed over a century of Ruisui's hot spring history, from its earliest days as a bathing destination to the present.
