A fresh wave of Hakka flavors has arrived. The Hakka Affairs Council has teamed up with Promisedland Resort to launch a series of creative co-branded dishes. By blending “Ha Food” with well-known dining brands, the initiative aims to introduce Hakka cuisine to a wider audience, highlighting the creativity and energy of contemporary Hakka culture while shaping the culinary style of the new Hakka generation.
The five featured creations include Salted Baked Chicken with Roselle Sauce, Rustic-Style Truffle Salted Pork and Scallion Bread, Hakka Stir-Fried Pasta, Hakka Burger, and Oriental Beauty Tea Dacquoise. Each dish combines local ingredients with cultural symbolism, offering a perfect balance of tradition and innovation.
According to the Hakka Affairs Council, the “Promisedland Hakka Culinary Journey” series will be available at Promisedland Resort in Hualien from now through August 30, 2025. Explore eastern Taiwan this summer and enjoy exciting new Hakka flavors that blend culture and creativity!
