At this year’s Taipei International Travel Fair, the Hakka Affairs Council invites visitors to journey through Taiwan’s historic Hakka villages, starting along the picturesque Romantic Route 3. Visitors can enjoy Bonbons’ Miao Li Black Tea Cookies and Auntie Li’s creative Hakka recipes, offering a taste of the natural Hakka village lifestyle. In the Liudui region, experience the laid-back charm of Meinong Town and savor local specialties like DiRaja Chocolate and Green Marsh Brewery’s artisanal flavors, capturing the essence of nature and regional agriculture. Further along Provincial Highway 9, slow down to appreciate the serene harmony with nature in Fenglin Town and Degao Hakka Village.
In addition to 27 on-site exhibitors, the Hakka Affairs Council has launched an online Hakka Travel Fair, showcasing themed tourism experiences like the Hakka Villages Tour with the Formosa Express Disney Themed Train, the Liudui Drone Leisure Experience, Taitung Carbon-Reduction Farm Tour, the Gold Leaf Tour, the Raknus Selu Trail Leisure Walk, and the Hualien Sugar Factory Lodge. This year’s offerings feature immersive local experiences through “micro-tours” across Taiwan, curated in collaboration with 16 travel agencies and platforms, including Cola Tour, SET Tour, Lion Travel, ezTravel, and KLOOK. Starting October 29, visitors can explore and purchase from over 100 Hakka village travel packages through the “Hakka Village Micro Tours - Leisure, Relaxation, and Slow Living” website. We warmly welcome everyone to uncover the charm of Taiwan’s Hakka villages!
