Deputy Minister of the Hakka Affairs Council Zhou Jiangjie attended the pre-show press conference at Meifu Hotel today (31st) before going to the "2023 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair." He said he was honored to participate in the annual event and that this year, the Hakka Affairs Council has adopted the theme of "Somewhere in Hakka" and invited everyone to visit Hakka Villages, appreciate the scenery and stay longer to more deeply experience the charm of Hakka culture.
In addition to the unique Raknus Selu Trail, this year an itinerary of tung blossom viewing combined with local wineries was offered, in the hope everyone can better appreciate the unique tung blossom image of Hakka Villages. This year, the Hakka Affairs Council will provide a total of 138 travel routes, transportation, B&B and other services. Everyone is welcome to come and experience the Hakka style tour.
This year, 104 countries participated in the "ITF Taipei International Travel Fair," which was held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 from November 3-6. Among them, the Hakka Affairs Council planned a Hakka theme pavilion with "[Somewhere in Hakka]" as its main theme, and launched 5 other themes including Raknus Selu Trail, Tung Blossom Trail, Dao of Tea Thoughts, Tipsy Travel and Hakka Tour. These showcase Hakka industry, culture, life, food, and customs to a new generation of tourists through a blend of tradition and innovation, allowing everyone to get lost in the charm of Hakka villages and experience their beauty first hand.
From November 1st to March 31st it is possible to link to the shopping guide travel itinerary page through the "Somewhere in Hakka" online travel fair event website, where more than 100 Hakka travel products are available for purchase. We invite visitors to come and experience Hakka Villages together.
