The rhythm of Xihu Old Street is just perfectly slow. The century-old blacksmith shop, retro grocery store, and traditional Chinese medicine store bear the old life memories of Hakka regions. Xihu is also the second hometown of Hakka poet Wu Chuoliu, who documented the culture and nature of Xihu in his works.

Pomelo
Xihu pomelo is a well-known high-end fruit in Taiwan. The 40-year-old trees give huge, plump fruits with a honey aroma. They are so popular that they are often grabbed before harvesting.
Sweet potato
With good earth, good water, and the hard work of the farmers, sweet potatoes that are fragrant and soft are grown here in Xihu. They are perfect for roasting: the dark yellow color of the flesh with the charcoal-roasted aroma is very appetizing.
