Hakka vegetable buns
The dough is made of glutinous rice and long-grain rice, and the filling is of fried shredded radish and fried shallots. The buns are steamed on top of bamboo leaves such that when the steamer is opened, the air is filled with bamboo fragrance. The buns are so tasty people would always want to take a few home after having them.
Migan (Yunnan rice noodle)
There are many ways to enjoy Migan, such as dry Migan with cucumbers, coriander, peanuts, and garlic flakes; Migan soup with chopped green onion, egg drop, pork liver, and pork slices; or Migan with meat sauce, which is very flavorful.
Peanut candy
This is a timeless, classic dessert. With just one bite, the rich peanut aroma will fill your mouth while the generous crushed peanuts will offer a pleasant crunchy texture. You will not be able to stop! There is also gift box packaging, making it a great choice as souvenirs.
Beef noodle
In the early days, Zhongli had the largest livestock markets in northern Taiwan, where all kinds of fresh and delicious meat were available. Many beef noodle restaurants were established here, offering flavorful beef noodle with Hakka pickled mustard leaf.
