Lunbei Township is a quintessential agricultural town and, along with Erlun and Xiluo, it is one of the areas in Taiwan with the highest concentration of Zhao’an Hakka people. However, the younger generation is gradually losing touch with the Hakka language and culture. As a result, Lunbei has been designated a key area for promoting Hakka culture and language education. The three major elements of Zhao’an culture are puppet shows, martial arts, and the "open-mouth lion." The Yunlin Zhaoan Hakka Cultural Festival, held every September, is a significant event celebrating Hakka traditions. Visitors can experience Zhao’an Hakka culture, enjoy traditional Hakka cuisine, and learn about the local agricultural and industrial heritage.
- Zhaoan Hakka Cultural Hall aims to promote cultural exchange among the Zhaoan Hakka community. This two-story building hosts regular activities on the first floor and special events on the second floor. It is the first museum dedicated to the Zhaoan Hakka people.
- Ccpaper Lifestyle Store is Yunlin's first paper industry tourist factory. It transforms everyday packaging cardboard into creative cultural products, developing various toy products from corrugated cardboard, such as the Hakka open-mouth lion, Lunbei's famous cantaloupe, dairy cows, and koi fish. The store offers DIY classes where visitors can learn to create lifelike corrugated cardboard artworks. The store also features a playground with designs entirely made from corrugated cardboard, setting it apart from other attractions and making it a highlight of Lunbei Township.
- Shuibiantou Community is a Zhaoan Hakka settlement. In the past, civilian guardhouses (literally “aidingliao”) were built around the village to prevent bandit invasions, and the residents would patrol at night, carrying torches. This tradition has evolved into the Hakka Mid-Autumn Festival celebration known as the "Aidingliao Torch Festival."
