Lunbei, Erlun, and Xiluo are home to the largest Zhao’an Hakka communities in Taiwan. Tucked away in Lunbei is a truly special place, the only cultural hall in the world dedicated solely to telling the story of the Zhao’an Hakka people.
Step inside and you are greeted by the scent of a bygone era. The displays are not just artifacts; they are the voices of ancestors, the crafts they mastered, and the journeys they undertook in search of a new home. As you move past each photograph and object, it feels like listening to village elders quietly recount the days when rice fields swayed in the wind, cooking smoke rose into the sky, and everyday life was deeply woven with tradition and belief.
