Red Oolong Tea
"Every visitor is a guest in the mountains, and every guest must have tea." Taitung Luye Hakka Village Red Oolong Tea is produced using green leaves in summer and autumn. The tea is grown in a place with mountains, water and no air pollution. It can be enjoyed in early spring and late winter. There is a large day to night temperature differential, with rain and dew nourishing the tea all year round. The tea is orange-red in color, fragrant and sweet to taste.
Caozaiguo
This is made from self-grown mugwort, picked and boiled on the same day, together with carefully selected Taitung glutinous rice. The outer shell is soft and non-sticky with a sizeable filling. Each bite is replete with a rich ancient flavor.
Zhengyi Tea Farm (Mother Tian / Sister Fu’s Flavor Meals)
The restaurant is located behind Yongan Special Agriculture Produce Center. Most of the dishes use ingredients grown by local farmers. It is particularly adept at transforming Taitung's local fruit and wild vegetables into a variety of delicious meals. The restaurant not only provides Hakka home-cooking style dishes, but creatively combines these with indigenous delicacies.
