Yuli Town was formerly known as "Pushi Chamber." Visitors often come to making a pilgrimage to Chike Mountain Daylily Flower Sea, which can be seen from the beginning of August to the end of September every year, but there are many other attractions in the surrounding area, including Kecheng Bridge, which displays different styles through the four seasons, the old railway bicycle path from Yuli Station to Dongli Old Station, Batongguan Historic Trail etc. In winter, visitors can also soak in the century-old Antong hot spring, one of the top eight scenic spots in Hualien, and enjoy local snacks such as Yuli Sanbao, stinky tofu and sweet bean jelly etc., classic Yuli delicacies not to be missed.
Fun activities
- Chike Mountain, which is as famous as Liushishi Mountain, known for the "Three Scenic Spots of Chike" and the sea of daylily flowers. Visitors come to see the daylily flower carpet that covers the hillside every August to September.
- Antong Hot Spring is 100 years old. In the early years, it was listed as one of the top eight scenic spots in Hualien as the "Warm Scenic Spot of Antong." Enjoy the unique warmth of winter in this antique bathing spot.
- The beautiful check-in attraction of Kecheng Iron Bridge has different beautiful scenery over the four seasons. It is also a secret place for many railway photography fans.
- The Eastern Taiwan Black Bear Education Center, located opposite Qiaotou Stinky Tofu, was the first place in Taiwan to display knowledge about black bears.
- Yuli Shrine retains the original torii gate and stone lanterns, offering visitors a panoramic view of past historical and humanistic splendor.
- Tourists who like mountaineering and hiking can walk the Antong Traversing Trail. The scenery is pristine, beautiful and full of historical significance.
- Yufu Bikeway is the "only bike path in the world" that spans two tectonic plates and offers a wonderful view. Riding on the bike lane converted from an old railway line visitors can enjoy the amazing feeling of cycling across two tectonic plates!

Golden needle flowers (also known as orange daylily)

Together with carefully braised side dishes, the experience is rich and satisfying.
Stinky tofu
When exploring Yuli do not forget to order "stinky tofu," a local dish that is famous in other counties and cities and beloved by foreign tourists and locals. Yuli stinky tofu is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, thick and rich. The taste of the sauce, paired with the homemade kimchi, is mouth-wateringly delicious.
Dongfonshisui Organic Farm
Dongfonshisui Organic Farm mainly produces organically cultivated rice and pomelos. The most unique activity on the farm is the "Brewing Experience DIY," which is one of the few places in Taiwan where visitors can try their hand at brewing organic beer. The DIY process is guided by professional instructors, and while waiting for the heating process, visitors can sip local beer brewed by experts.
